The Focus RS MK3 takes the RS marque back to 4WD giving exceptional point to point drivability and performance. This is a very modern 4WD system with sophisticated torque vectoring and a true driver’s car sticking with manual shifting to ensure a directly engaging drive.Part of what makes the RS so engaging is the very fast response from the factory twin scroll turbo. For a fast road car, most owners enjoy a wide powerband with minimal turbo lag so it was very important for Sabre to retain this profile when developing the Stage 3 upgrade. While there are options for aftermarket turbo upgrades like the NX2, the ensuing turbo lag and loss of low end torque can be very disappointing for many owners. This was the key element to developing the Sabre Stage 3 with over 12 months testing and refining the 500RSX turbo upgrade.For all other turbo options please look at Sabre Stage 4 mappingOptions for normal 95 octane fuels are available with around a 5-10% reduction in performance compared to 97-99 octane. The key upgrade is the Sabre 500RSX turbo which is a direct fit to existing hardware. If you do not wish to build your engine (forged engine) then we can limit power to circa 440-450bhp on a good fuel. For built engines we can expect to see 460-470bhp with standard cams with a HPFP upgrade.
