The Sabre 450RS hybrid turbo is the very first option to take the Focus ST MK4 up to a genuine 450bhp . Where the original turbo is limited to a maximum 370-390bhp with a sharp drop off in torque at higher revs, the 450RS has been designed to pull hard to 6500rpm. We don’t have to worry about turbo lag, it remains as responsive as ever resulting in instant performance throughout the gears when you want it. This power delivery is exceptionally smooth giving a wide torque curve and exceptional drivability with a noticeable kick from 3500-4000rpm all the way to the limiter!Each turbo is fully rebuilt to Sabre specification featuring the following upgrades: Sabre 450RS turbo – New core with 360 thrust bearing stagger gap seals – New modified turbine wheel shaft – New custom billet compressor wheel – Machining balancingNo further upgrades are required beyond the typical Stage 2 level other than associated ECU tuning.
