Anecdotally an antidepressant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial used for stress relief and to improve circulation. Excellent for women during menstruation or abdominal pain due to its antispasmodic properties. It has a favourable herbaceous aroma similar to dried tobacco which blends well with lavender, citrus, sandalwood, geranium and floral oils such as ylang ylang.
