As standard the ST MK3 has a relatively small turbo with minimal headroom limited to around the 300 level on a good set-up. The Sabre 350R hybrid breaks free from these constraints and expands the potential with a unique upgrade that allows a significant performance increase without any loss of response pulling very hard to 6500rpm. The result is a very wide torque curve with no loss of response when compared to the original unit giving exceptional drivability.Each turbo is fully rebuilt to Sabre specification featuring the following upgrades: Sabre 350R turbo – New core with 360 thrust bearing stagger gap seals – New modified turbine wheel shaft – New custom billet compressor wheel – New custom actuator – Machining balancingNo further hardware upgrades are required beyond the typical Stage 2 level in order to achieve 320-330bhp. For optimal performance up to 360bhp it will require uprated camshafts and/or water meth injection.
